In the Eyes of A Lover

They are beautiful to me. When I met Sophia/Xander at first they were rather forthright and affectionate towards me. They seemed to want an escape from something, or rather, someone. They even trusted me with their journal ("their soul.") As I got to know her better she seemed excited for life. She went to Columbia College and had ideas to make amazing poems, books and maybe one day become a singer, lyricist and musician. She has dreams that, even knowing her now, she has not lost sight of. I love her desire to fulfill her dreams. I love her taste in music and I love when she smiles, even if it isn't often, especially when I was the one to make her smile, or even laugh. I love when she gets excited about something. I see all the gears turning and the light in her eyes. I love when they love to show me their work and that I am often the first one they show their work to. I even love them for their faults. I am proud about how they have been doing lately and I am sure that they will continue to to improve. They may be different than when I first met them, but she hasn't lost her spirit. They are still the Sophia I first met, they just need a little revitalizing. I appreciated them then and, after two and a half years I love them now. No matter what conflicts we may have we work through them. They are worth more to me than the conflict we may have, the faults they have or when they make me upset. We can always work through that. Our love is stronger than our mental illness. Our love is stronger than ourselves. We will love each other forever and always.
